Those Big Red writers

Here's one of the differences between college football in Michigan and in Nebraska: in one place, they occasionally get distracted by things like basketball. That place is not Nebraska. Most of today's Michigan sports pages focused on the basketball game between the Wolverines and Delaware State, and had nothing about the football team. In Nebraska, they were blessed with stories surrounding the start of bowl practice.

DN: Huskers focused on postseason competition
GII: 'Business trip' for Nebraska: NU players want to have fun in San Antonio, but say winning is the focus
OWH: Husker seniors seek a final 'W'

The Journal Star is a little more specific: Green to make another switch, this time to safety, which actually talks about several players considering changing positions and using this extra month of practice to get a start on work for spring.

Seriously, in Nebraska, the media's football season never ends.
