It's a big week for college sports, at least in my world. Basketball tips off and football winds down, at least if you call the biggest game of the year winding down. And an innocent visit to the old college paper gives me plenty to link to.

The Daily features a story about Quarterback 'U', actually a look at quarterbacks coach Scot Loeffler, who has had a hand in the development of five NFL passers: Tom Brady, John Navarre, Brian Griese, Drew Henson and Todd Collins (who, along with Elvis Grbac was in school at the same time.)

And the basketball previews are up, with the Daily's headlined Last Chance To Dance and picked the Wolverines fifth. They've also got a look at the rest of the conference in a Big Ten preview.

The bad news: Cagers see decline in ticket sales: Student ticket sales dropped significantly despite a reduction in the price

And, for a little hockey: Swystun learns on line with captains, about the youngest member of the team, not even 18 years old yet.
