Egad, I've been so bad about posting. And there have been interesting headlines, features, games. Yep, all kinds of stuff going on. Today, I'd like to point you to a Steve Breston feature the Free Press did: Mighty with ball and pen U-M's Breaston can return kicks and write with soul.
"I explained my dad doesn't wear a cape, he wears a uniform, a brown-and-tan uniform that says 'Mike' on it," Breaston said. "When you ask the question, 'Why do you think your dad's a superhero? He doesn't move mountains,' I say, 'I know he doesn't move mountains. He moves my soul.' "
A few other headlines I've wanted to link to recently. You've probably read them by now, but just in case:
- 10/13: Bo doubtful U-M can rebound. Bet he's feeling better about things after the Penn State win.
- 10/14: Michigan hopes health makes wealth. Tommy Amaker, starting his fifth season as Michigan basketball coach, is emphasizing health, happiness and hunger as the Wolverines begin practice.
- 10/14 U-M goalie Sauer could have been a BC Eagle. Hey, it's time for a little early-season hockey. Oh, and they won: Hensick, Trumbull lead U-M past Boston College, 3-2, with the young netminder making 22 saves.
- 10/15 Trammell gets back in the game with interviews: Too bad the Tigers couldn't accomplish in three years what the White Sox did in two.
