I know it’s been a while here, but I’ve been too busy to write about sports of any kind. But we’re going to give this another shot. I originally started this to catch up on college hockey and figured some of my friends might be able to help. And here it is hockey season again, seeing as Michigan won its first exhibition the other night.
Seems they crushed Windsor with the help of the power play. And rarely do small Canadian schools challenge elite Division I programs that are favored to win their conference.
And did I mention I was catching up? Here’s some other Michigan news, hockey and otherwise:
- Wolverines accept No. 1 ranking as a challenge
- Year-old failure still stings Golden Gophers and Gophers’ grudge fired by ‘03 loss
- Sadly for the football team: Surgery an option for ailing Gutierrez and Michigan’s Gutierrez likely out for season
- Edwards makes case for Heisman
- And, for those of you clamoring for basketball season - Amaker: No complacency
