Apparently, there’s not as much interest in the Athens Games as one might think. Tickets are still available, demand possibly depressed by worries from terrorism to traffic.
I’ve never really felt an overwhelming urge to attend the Games. And I feel for those for whom European travel is out of the question financially. But this really is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the Olympics at their birthplace.
Of course the Scotsman (the actual paper, not our fearless poster) has another “reason” to go to the Games: Apparently, these young, well-toned athletes like to have a lot of sex after the competition.
