Flower shots

The black-eyed susans (most of which don't have black eyes) are currently the brightest color around, though the liatris (tall, purple stalks, very popular with finches -- I'll shoot some tomorrow) are holding their own. The single-color ones caught my eye tonight, though there are a couple of two-color ones that I think will look good in morning light.
On the other side, the new lobelia (cardinal flower) are starting to let some red show.


I couldn't decide which one of these I like -- with the flash looks a little better, but it gives the impression it was *really* dark out. Feel free to vote for your favorite in the comments :)
