We've got sprouts

Our first garden box is showing signs of life. In the front there, I think that's squash, but it might be melon. In the back, those are beans. (And we've got more bird and flower shots too.)

These shots are all from Sunday. Tonight, when I got home, there was more chirping than usual. When I went out to the trees, the nest was empty! The babies are out, learning how to fly. I don't if they'll be back at night or if we'll ever get another shot at the nest, so here's one more:

The black-eyed susans are coming in. Some of them even have the black eyes:

So that's the wildlife and foliage report. We'll be back tomorrow to let you know if the rain stopped enough for us to determine anything about the robins. Oh, and we might have some bird video prepared by then.
