Cherry tree in the rain
» Posted by Jon at 10:01 pm :: Comments (0)
Remember that cherry tree? This is about as flowery as it got. It wasn't the rain's fault, the leaves were right behind.
Got a couple of photos of a cardinal visiting our pear tree in the backyard.
And here are a few photos of the tree branches from a couple evenings before.
A few other notes
Just because I feel the need to toss out a few links:
- Check out Gina's Opening Day experience and her mobile photos (that's the last of the sequence; go to this page if you want to start at the beginning).
- Scot has a few thoughts about gas mileage and CAFE standards and the cars we should all be driving. There's a bunch of math but it's good stuff. I still want a super-efficient car and I'll still take the bus, but I'm glad somebody is thinking about this stuff.
- Oh, and the new high-speed train could get us to St. Louis, Milwaukee or Huntsville, Ala., in under an hour. Sign me up.
