Old Lahaina Luau
» Posted by Jon at 10:10 pm :: Comments (0)

We had floor seats for the first luau we went to and got some pretty pictures, and learned a few things about our cameras from the ones that didn't turn out.

We posted one shot of us earlier. Here we are on the harbor wall just before sunset.

O.k., back to the dancing. This luau told some stories behind the traditions of Hawaiian dancing, so there are many kinds of costumes and colors. Apparently, fire is Polynesian, so there's none of that here.
