Our drive northwest

Day 2, Saturday: We drove up to West Maui and the town of Lahaina, but first we stopped at some resorts like this one on Kaanapali Beach.
Nearby was a very convenient rock formation that made a perfect diving (well, jumping) platform.
At another beach, the lava nearby made for some excellent tide pools, where we found some crabs.
In the distance, we could see the island of Lanai over the very blue ocean.
