Balloons over Wine Country

One of the other balloons framed in the basket of our early-morning airship.
One of the things we wanted to do on our trip to Northern California was a hot-air balloon ride. We found an outfit in Yountville, in the valley north of Napa, that launches at 5:30 a.m. Using time zones to our advantage, we signed up for one on our first day out there.
Herewith is a quick visual summary of our morning. I've also got a journal entry posted in the old style (outside the blog) as the San Francisco section beefs up.
