Things worth publishing

I haven't been posting much recently, but I will report that the football team is doing well and there are some new fortune cookies to contemplate.
  And while there are many interesting articles out there, here are two things I wonder:

• Why all the furor over "The Reagans"? Why no similar "historically accurate" worries about the Lynch and Smart stories? Maybe I'll find links for all these things later.
• Ken Parish Perkins has some ideas about why all these prime time interviews exist, even if they're not particularly newsworthy.
