Time for some time on an island

For our own special little vacation, we decided to head to Aruba this year, "one happy island" just north of Venezuela.

We spent a few days lying on the beach (which is the whole point of going to an island with white sand, plam trees and varied blue water). But we also explored the desert interior and the captial city a bit.

After the experience of our last vacation diary, we've got some short summaries of each day to go with the photo gallery. (Originally, there was only going to be one page, but the entry for the day of our driving tour of the island got really long.)

The final count of images included 153 digitals and 96 on film (though part of one roll still had some Italy on it). Not all of them were any good but we've posted a selection here (digitals for now, film to come, so check back or sign up for our email list).
